- Build 2 Houses
Begin raiding with your first 7 Uhlans, you have to deal as much damage as possible so that the other player won't come marching into your base before you have a sizeable mass of Doppelsoldners and Uhlans.
Once the 700w shipment arrives, research the second gold upgrade, build a barracks, and build a few more houses. You won't be training anymore Uhlans unless the ones raiding are killed or you feel you'll need a lot of them. Also keep in mind that you may have to buy some wood for housing.
Keep your Doppels hidden somewhere in your base, you don't want to have them killed off because they were out of position. If you're attacked you may have to wait for 1 or 2 more batches of Doppels to come out before you can handle the army, be patient until you need to do something about it even if your town is being destroyed. Of course, there are exceptions to everything... like if they're going to end up housing you and you won't get those dopps out anyways.
- Ship 3 Settler Wagons third
Now the 4th card is really situational. If you're being pressured, or if you intend to pressure soon, ship 8 crossbows. Otherwise, seal an economic advantage with the 2 Settler Wagons card.
Now for the fighting. You'll need your crossbows and your explorer in the back, picking off infantry, particularly muskets if there are any. You need to have your dopps engaged with the infantry, and have your Uhlans keeping enemy cav off of your crossbows or surrounding the infantry from the back, even if your opponent has muskets, Uhlans can deal a nice bit of damage to them, especially with dopps mixed in. If they try to melee your Uhlans just run away and come back once they switch back to ranged mode. Your dopps will be dealing tons of damage to them while they do this.
