Cards needed specific to strategy: 700 food, 6 Muskets
Age 1: Put three villagers on food and the rest divided on wood.
There are 3 resource setups in which one will have to act differently.
Setup 1: 2 wood crates + 0coin crates
Build a manor as soon as the villagers gathering wood crates have sufficient wood. Put 3 villagers on wood and a couple on coin unless you get some small treasures. There will usually be close to 50 coin in treasures by your base so one will often not need to mine any. Gather enough wood to build a market + 50 and 50 coin. Research hunting dogs as soon as possible without losing villager production.
Setup 2: 3 wood crates + 0 coin crates
Build a manor and a market. There will usually be close to 50 coin in treasures by your base so one will often not need to mine any but you need 50 coin and the remaining wood from your crates to research hunting dogs. This should be done as soon as possible without losing villager production.
If you are doing the 16 villager age up and are trying to rush as hard as possible then you should build two manors because it eliminates the need for you to build a second house later.
Setup 3: 2 wood crates + 1 coin crate
Build a market and research hunting dogs immediately. There will usually be close to 75 coin in treasures by your base so one will often not need to mine any but once you get 125 coin after researching hunting dogs you should buy 100 wood from the market and build a manor house. This should be done as fast as possible without losing villager production.
3 villagers should be your first card.
If you have less than 650 food after your 16th villager is made then you have a choice to make. If you are rushing very hard in a team game or are in a 1v1 then you should not make a 17th villager and age up with the 500 food. If you are in a team game where the rush will be delayed slightly (after 6 minutes) then you should make a 17th villager.
In transition you should gather 100 food to research gang saw at the market. If you can tell that you can do a 16 villager age up without waiting at all to age then you can research gang saw before you start aging. This will save you some resources in transition. This is only really possible if you get a very good food treasure such as the sunflower treasure on great plains for 140 food.
After this put all of your villagers on wood. Move a villager up to your forward base and build a manor house as soon as you can afford it. Then chop 400 wood. After the wood is chopped put 6 villagers on coin 3 on wood and the rest on food.
Age 2:
When you age build two barracks with your forward villagers. Ship 6 musketeers immediately. When your barracks are finished queue up 10 muskets. They should be built at about the same time your six muskets can run to your forward base. Use these first 16 muskets to attack your opponent. When you have enough wood build another house and move the 3 villagers on wood onto coin. Your next card should be 700 food. Use this food to continue 10 at a time musket production.
After this point you can ship wood or longbows or 5 villagers. It is one's own call.
