First person mode:
This is a strange hotkey glitch that occurs while in the home city view and by clicking a certain hotkey causes the person to return to the game map in first person view. This should be a fairly easy fix once I find which key is causing the problem.
Hotkeys:
Hotkey changes made in 1.2a will no longer be an issue. They will revert back to normal TAD hotkeys including the return of unit stance hotkeys. (stagger/hand/bombard etc.)
Explorer Revive Bug: Previous patch (1.2a) I disabled the unit tactics hot keys thus eliminating the patch. This time around I believe the solution can be solved by renaming explorers tactics. This would mean every other unit could have hot keys returned and explorers would require a button click to switch tactics. This will require some testing and hopefully the theory is right.
Displaced improvement buttons:
ChurchQuatrefage (Spanish) and ChurchStadholders (Dutch) move Barrack upgrades. ChurchKalmucks, ChurchBashkirPonies (Russian) and shipping Card HCShipWingedHussars (German) move Stable upgrades. ChurchGardeImperial1, 2, 3 (French Grenadiers) move Artillery Depot upgrades. If used, improvement buttons are displaced to the right, so that they are not below their corresponding unit button. Buttons will place correctly now.
Sound Files:
Chinese, Japanese and Indian surgeon now have the correct British surgeon sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Iroquois discovery travois now has correct unit sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Sufi Pilgrimage goats now have correct unit sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Consulate Portuguese Ironclad now has Portugal Ironclad sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Silk Road Map trading posts now have normal trading post selection sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Russian church Kalmuck (Dragoon) now has Russian Cavalry Archer sound. (Previously no sound file.)
Indian consulate Ottoman villagers now has Ottoman sound. (Previously had Indian sound file.)
TEAM 3 Native Villager shipment now will always have Aztec sound. Sioux and Iroquois villagers still have their original sounds. (Previously sound was corresponding to current nation being used.)
Spanish Quatrefage Halberdiers now have Rodelero sound. (Previously was Dutch Halberdier sound file.)
Wrong Textures:
Japanese consulate Dutch church now has correct Dutch texture. (Previously had British texture.)
Japanese consulate Dutch arsenal now has correct Dutch texture. (Previously had Russian texture.)
Revolution:
Cree Trading posts could train CDB post revolution. (This has been fixed.)
Cherokee native post tech would grant 4 villagers post revolution. (This has been fixed.)
TEAM 3 villagers and TEAM 2 settler wagons would grant villagers post revolution. (This has been fixed.)
Hussar revolution for Ottomans received the missing Gardner Royal Guard upgrade.
TEAM Early Dragoons:
TEAM Early Dragoons enables German War Wagons and Aztec Eagle Runner Knights. (Previously was not granting them.)
TEAM Early Skirmishers:
Train time reduction for Abus. (Previously was not effecting Ottoman allies.)
Travois:
It can now correctly construct native embassies. (Previously it could not.)
Line of sight increased to 12 so docks can actually be constructed by the unit. (Previously it's LOS was 8 and it could not build docks without another unit nearby or coast line previously scouted,12 LOS is the minimum requirement to construct a dock.)
Max velocity may need to be reduced on unit to prevent it from becoming a scout, though this could present further complications balance wise. Need to test this more.
Glitch Upgrades:
The following techs have <Flag>UpgradeTech</Flag> so
'YPHCCheapUnitUpgradesTeam' and 'YPNatZenMeritocracy' effect their costs
but they shouldn't. Flag should be removed from topkapi, tanzimat and abbasid Otto techs as galatatower, koprulvizier, milletsystem and ALL other church/monastery techs do not have this flag and to add would create imbalances. Also, these Otto techs already had prices reduced in a previous patch.
It should also be removed from bigdockrawhidecovers, bigdockcipactli and bigdockflamingarrow as no other warchief civ bigbuttons have this flag. Cipactli is not even an upgrade, it is a unit shipment. Again, same reasons as church/monastery - adding to all bigbuttons would create imbalances.
Dutch Consulate Church:
It can now train spies correctly. (Previously it could not.)
Russian Consulate Blockhouse:
Rescued villagers, TEAM villagers, and Cree CDB can no longer construct additional blockhouses.
Cree Native CDB:
Cost fixed to 125 food and ranged resistance reduced to .30 so the unit is in line with current CDB changes. (Previously was 120 food and had .40 ranged resistance.)
Back-herding:
A fairly common problem on maps such as Great Plains and Andes. It seems to effect larger hunts more often as their herd aura snaps back to its original location. Easiest solution would be to go in and re-edit some of the offending maps max herds and change starting herd radii.
TEAM Infantry Attack:
French TEAM Ranged Infantry Attack card increases the attack of cavalry archers, bow riders, keshiks, and yabusame. (This is caused by the Archers Tag)
Ottoman 2 Outposts:
Ottoman TEAM 2 Outposts card allows Native, Russian, and Asian civs to build and upgrade outposts with their villagers, without requiring the wagons. (Needs to be fixed.)
Northern Lakes:
Japan now gets 2 Cherry Orchards. (Previously only 1)
Consulate Surgeons:
Fixed bug where Surgeons from the British Consulate could not build Field Hospitals.
Home City Sohei:
Fixed bug where Homecity Sohei had less damage against Cavalry than regularly trained Sohei. Properly increased to new stats (3.5x vs. Cavalry, 2.8x vs. Light Infantry, instead of 2.25x vs. Cavalry and 1.8x vs. Light Infantry).
Consulate Janissaries:
Fixed bug with Consulate Tufanci Corps only having 210 HP, with 2.25x bonus to cavalry and 1.8x bonus to Light Infantry. Upped to new Janissary stats.
Sufi Natives:
Fixed bug with Sufi Sharia Tech, where it gave the Dutch +9.0 Settler Build limit. It now gives the proper +5.0 for the Dutch.
TEAM 5 Manchu:
Fixed bug with TEAM 5 Manchus Card, where it took only 40 seconds to ship. It now takes the proper 60 seconds to ship, standard of all Mercenary shipments.
Arsonists:
Arsonists and Repentant Arsonists now have 'Mercenary' tag.
Consulate Bank:
Asian Consulate Bank hitpoints reduced to 3500, bounty increased to 70, and kill bounty decreased to 140 in order to fit in line with the regular Bank.
Fusiliers:
Repentant Fusiliers now have a 1.5x bonus against Light Infantry in ranged guard mode (this was missing in ranged guard mode).
Portuguese Infantry Cards:
These cards now appear in the correct location of the home city menu, as well as their cards they were once swapped out for. The combat cards will still be available in age 2/3.
Projectiles
xpTomahawk now throws a tomahawk correctly as it should as opposed to a musketball. This is an animation file change and wont have an effect on the units balance or upgrades that effect it.
Native Settlers now throw spears as opposed to musket balls when hunting and fighting.
